A) Public Private Partnership Mode Scheme (PPP): |
|
|
|
ITI Kathua has come under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme “Up gradation of 1396 Government ITIs through PPP mode Scheme� in the year 2008 for which the Interest free loan of Rs.2.5 cr stands transferred to the IMC account in April 2008. The Institute is being developed as per the IDP prepared with the active participation of Industrialists. Under this Scheme Four NCVT trades viz; Turner, Painter General, Welder and Cuting & Sewing have been upgraded and four new trades viz; Plumber, Fitter ,Electronic Mechanic, Beautician are to opened as new trades. The new job oriented trades are being started from the coming session in this Institute. Also some more short term courses and revenue generated programmes would be run in the Institute in near future |

B) Normal Scheme: |

|
|
Under this Scheme Four trades namely Stenography, Cutting & Sewing (SCVT) , Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Electrician, are running in ITI Kathua for which the funds are being allotted by the Govt . of Jammu & Kashmir |

C) Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS): |
|
|
|
Under CSS Two trades namely Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) , Health Sanitary Inspector trade are running successfully in ITI Kathua for which also the funds are being allotted by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir. These trades in this area opening the avenues of Job opportunities in private as well as private sectors for the young generation |

D) SKILL DELOPMENT INITIATIVE (SDI) - MODULAR EMPLOABLE SCHEME (MES): |

|
The skill level and educational attainment of the workforce determines the productivity as well as the ability to adapt to the changing industrial environment. Economy grows through technological push not through demand pull. Technology is changing at the blink of an eye. Now there is not only a sharp rise in competition, but also a significant shift in the expectation of all the stake holders namely, industries, governments, public, professional service providers, trainees, employees etc. Institute shall aim to not only transfer knowledge & skill about modern technology, but also lend a tangible competitive advantage with the globalization & liberalization. Adoption of modern technology to meet the qualitative requirement is the prime necessary and these in turn depend, on the availability of trained labor force. Institute shall works with the larger objective of the organization. |
